The BamBam 3d Study

We are looking for healthy pregnant women who use or have used marijuana products in pregnancy or the three months prior to pregnancy for a research study. We are also looking for healthy pregnant women who do not use marijuana.

The BamBam-3D Study (Behavior and Mood of Babies and Mothers—3D Ultrasound) looks at how a mother’s behaviors and feelings during pregnancy influence the development of her baby.

After an initial telephone screen, you may be asked to participate in interviews about your habits, feelings, and health during your pregnancy. You may then participate in 3D non-diagnostic ultrasound sessions and receive a DVD of your baby. After you deliver, a researcher will complete newborn and infant exams with your baby.

  • Requirements:

    • Healthy pregnant women over 18 years of age who use or have used marijuana products in pregnancy or three months prior to pregnancy and healthy pregnant women over years of age who do not use marijuana.

  • Additional Information:

    • Participants will be compensated for their time and receive DVDs of the ultrasounds.
