Research
Opportunities
Assist research assistants with sessions involving clinical interviews with pregnant women and/or behavioral exams with infants that are conducted at the lab or participants’ homes
Code fetal/infant behavior and/or brain regions
Perform data entry, data cleaning, and data programming tasks
Recruit potential participants through community and OB office site postings and conduct telephone interviews
Collect, process, and/or store various biospecimens, which may include the opportunity to participate in lab on-call rotation (evenings/weekends)
After completing two stellar semesters in our lab, undergraduate interns may have the opportunity to be promoted to a paid research student position and/or to be invited to complete an independent research study with study data under the mentorship of a lab member
Qualifications
Able to commit to:
at least 8 hours per week
at least two semesters (fall, spring, or summer)
travel to Hoppin Street, either by car or public transit (direct route by Brown shuttle is available for Brown students)
