Most recently, she completed her Clinical Psychology residency on the Behavioral Medicine track at Brown and graduated with her PhD from Oklahoma State University. Her research focuses on psychosocial predictors of perinatal sleep and the intergenerational transmission of stress between birthing people and their infants. During fellowship, she plans to expand her research into examining biological factors that impact perinatal and infant sleep. She will also be completing her clinical hours for licensure at Women & Infants Postpartum Day Hospital and is interested in working with birthing people with moderate to severe psychopathology. Proudly, Gina is a first-generation scholar and the first person in her entire extended family to obtain a doctorate and be affiliated with an Ivy League institution.
