We are so proud of our undergraduate intern, Callie Bednarek, for being awarded a Karen T. Romer Undergradute Teaching and Research Award (UTRA) through Brown University. UTRAs encourage student/faculty collaboration, advance research projects, and strengthen curriculum. Callie’s project focuses on Prenatal Substance Use, Fetal Withdrawal, and Infant Neurobehavior. She will assist in the preparation of an academic manuscript for publication, based on an existing dataset within our lab, and become more independent in her duties within the lab.
