Our offices look a little different these days due to COVID-19. While we have been teleworking, Zoom calls have quickly become an every day staple in our working environment. Virtual meetings, lunch calls, and happy hours have thankfully allowed us to feel connected while apart.

Congratulations are in order! Our predoctoral resident, Nancy Jao, was selected for and accepted a Behavioral Medicine T32 postdoctoral fellowship at Brown University. This means we now have the good fortune of continuing to work with Nancy after her internship year!
She's going to Grad School!
We are so proud of our Senior Research Assistant, Samantha Goldman, for being accepted into a Clinical Psychology PhD program this week. Her hard work clearly paid off and we are just as thrilled as she is. One thing’s for sure: she is off to do amazing things! Congratulations, Sam!
Karaoke Night
This week’s social event was one for the books! We’ve talked about doing a lab-wide karaoke night for quite some time, and those dreams finally came true. The Boombox in Providence was the perfect location for this fun-filled night.

We are thrilled to announce that our former RA, Cindy Nguyen, has officially been promoted to a Senior Research Assistant within the lab! She is an integral part of our team and is sure to shine in this new role. Naturally, we had to celebrate with a sweet treat. Congratulations, Cindy!
Welcome, Sabrina!
We are very happy to have our former undergraduate intern, Sabrina Fagan, join the team full-time as a Research Assistant! She will become a trained Maternal Interviewer for both our 3D Ultrasound and BamBam-3D studies.
EPA Abstract Accepted!
Excited for RA, Karson Fair, and SRA, Samantha Goldman, as they found out their abstract for EPA was accepted! They will present their poster in early March at the Eastern Psychological Association’s 2020 conference.
